Owner, Certified Regenerative Health Practitioner and Clinical Iridologist

I am originally from Springfield, MO, USA. My mother was an art major at SMSU, and my father was an aspiring musician. I was lucky to be surrounded by very open-minded, loving people as a child. Unfortunately, I started having symptoms of pain and hyperactivity around age 7. Everyone assumed it was due to growing pains and my own personality, so it was passed off as “normal.”

I’ve worked in eye health for over 20 years, and have been working in the health field for over 30 years. I watched patients and many family members go through major illnesses, and I helped care for many of them. During this process, I started a journey to find healthier ways to address disease. I, myself, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 17. The symptoms were chronic fatigue and joint pain mainly. Doctors explained that I would likely have to have my knees replaced at some point. My father had severe psoriasis most of his life. Later, I was diagnosed with Grave’s, Hashimoto’s, and Sjogren’s Syndrome. It took many years to receive this information.

Doctors told me that I would need to be on medication for the rest of my life in order to function in society or that I would just deteriorate progressively. I was distraught by this and started looking for other options. Functional medicine was a big hit. These options were amazing and brought me back to a health I had not known in many years. Unfortunately, this option entailed a lot of work and little support. It was easy to stray from the treatment course and still did not seem to address all of the issues without staying on a strict protocol. Therefore, I was always on the lookout for something that seemed more tangible. Then, I came across regenerative health and farming practices. It seemed too good to be true. So, much research occurred. I joined a community of regenerative health specialists and began watching what was happening with them and their clients. The results were amazing!

I decided to become a practitioner to pass along the wealth of health to others by studying at the Institute of Regenerative Health. As an alumna, I am continually studying new information. Working in the health field for over twenty years helped my understanding of working with patients and the difference between wants and needs. The goal is to help others get what they need in a way that they want it. It seems that people want things to be easy. I will help to make it simple, which can be made easy using things like mindfulness, foods, herbs, and movement.

Motivation comes from within — and I’m here to help you activate it.
